Alastair possesses an extensive portfolio of knowledge and skills in socio-economic research and evaluation methods, drawing on experience in the academic, public and consulting sectors, and providing first class delivery and project management skills.

Strategy, Evaluation and Major Projects

Sean is an experienced consultant in strategy, evaluation and major projects for the private sector, NGOs and aid agencies (MENA, Central Asia and Europe), with a focus on impact assessment and M&E capacity development, and building on his work both as an academic and as International Trade Specialist (Central Asia, Russia and Eastern Europe) with the US Department of Commerce (delivering USAID funded programmes and reporting to the US Congress oversight committee). 


 
 

Chris Maunder

Business Case Development, Green Book Appraisals, Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks, Impact Evaluation

Chris is Co-Director of Thrive Economics, a business he founded in 2010 following over a decade working for a range of economic development organisations.  Chris is regularly commissioned to help clients develop Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks for complex projects and programmes from business support through to transport projects.   He also completes Impact Evaluations and helps clients identify valuable learning from the delivery of projects and programmes.  Recent commissions with Additional Research have included Monitoring & Evaluation Frameworks for Gainshare schemes and the evaluation of Scotland's Innovation Centres.
